On November 23, 2021, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation awarded its scientific prizes to 20 researchers whose work contributes to the advancement of scientific knowledge with the aim of improving human health. The total endowment of these prizes amounts to nearly 2 million euros. Engaged in life science research since its creation in 1987, the Bettencourt Schueller Foundation supports and encourages researchers and their teams at key moments in their careers. Once again this year, it distinguished 20 researchers in four distinct categories: the Liliane Bettencourt Prize for life sciences, the Bettencourt Coups d 'élan Prize for French research, the endowment of the ATIP-Avenir program and the Bettencourt Prize for young people. researchers.

BETTENCOURT PRIZE FOR YOUNG RESEARCHERS This prize supports 14 young doctors of science or doctors of science and medicine at the start of their career by financing their post-doctoral stay abroad (endowment of € 25,000).
